This morning I received a lovely package in the post. A beautiful necklace, brooch and letter from paper treasure. I'm really delighted she asked to do a trade with me, her work has a lovely feel to it, you can see more in her etsy shop.

Market

Here's a rather dark and moody picture of my stall at the DADA Market this weekend with some of my new designs on display (more on these later). As much as I don't really enjoy selling my own work its a really good way of getting instant feedback on new designs, and I was quite pleased with how they went down. I'm not sure if it was the terrible weather or the nice atmosphere in Oran Mor but it was pretty busy and I think quite a successful market for everyone. Hopefully Edinburgh will be as busy this weekend.

craft fair

I'm taking part in two miso funky markets over the next couple of weeks, so I've been pretty busy getting some new designs together as well as making up some of the old ones. The first is this Sunday (the 18th) to be held in Oran Mor -Byres Rd in Glasgow, and the second is next Saturday (24th) at The Caves in Edinburgh. If anyone is about it'd be great to see you there. let there be light box

I've wanted a decent lightbox for ages - anythings got to be better than the bedside lamp under the coffee table. So despite being a bit poorly this week I finally made myself one. Mind you I think I might need to get a higher watt bulb but other than that I'm pretty chuffed.
