Recently seen at Origin, Laura Anderson creates beautiful textile designs from her studio outside Dundee. I love the colour combinations and her patterns which she makes into scarfs, bags and ties.

Tait & Style

Tait & Style based in Orkney create beautiful textiles using a traditional needlepunching technique. Used with other methods of felting they produce contemporary fabrics and designs of incredible beauty and warmth.

mugs

These aren't new designs by any means but I wanted to put them up because I think they are great, the sort of design I love. Simple designs with a twist that making them unique, witty and heaps of fun.

print

This is one of the first screen prints I made while on a brilliant screen printing evening class. I'm always amazed at how much better things look once you've made them up rather than just seeing them as a graphic on your computer.

showing off

Images of my cushions and purses.
Between the folds the pattern changes... The surface shows a pretty floral pattern but underneath the pattern changes to reveal spiders, ants, dead flowers and thorns. Screen printed by hand onto organic, fair trade cotton
Available in my etsy shop here
